Tin Plating

Electronic Precision Specialties, Inc., can plate your parts with pure tin or one of many available tin/lead alloys.

Tin plating can range from matte gray to full bright. The deposits are ductile with relatively low contact resistance. Tin plated deposits provide exceptional solderability and good corrosion resistance.

Tin is used to prevent galling or seizing and facilitates the joining of metals products. Tin plating has a very low toxicity to life expectancy and is one of the least expensive forms of plating available.
